Hey Everyone! I feel so bad I haven't had the chance to email until now. we drove over to the library on Monday and it was closed on memorial day :( we have been so busy that right now is literally the only time we have had to do it! We don't even have time for lunch most days we are so busy :) its a good thing.
It sounds like you all had a bunch of fun camping. it was crazy to think this last week that school got out! haha I can just imagine kaden will all the ladies. I am so glad you got the phone call from the lady in my ward. she is so awesome! we almost ended up moving in with them at the beginning of last transfer. I love the outfit that grandma got me! i am actually wearing it today :) it has a really cool pocket on it that i can stick my mormon.org  cards in.
To give you a little update for the week...well i can't. It just has been so awesome! It started off with last teusday...I woke up and just felt like I really needed to learn how to teach the restoration in spanish! (we have a few spanish restorations pamphlets and books of mormon) So i did! I taught sister struhs and we were just laughing so hard the whole time. I felt so strongly to take a spanish book of mormon with us. later that day a member called us and asked us if we had a spanishs book of mormon for her friend! Of course I was jumping up and down I was so excited. We went over to the members neighbors with her later and we were able to give her the spanish book of mormon! they are Jehovah witness and have alot of tough crazy questions but they are progressing! the husband knows english. But later that week we found not 1 but 2 more spanish speaking investigators! It was such a miracle. we have a few spanish speaking members in our ward so they came with us last night. I couldn't say a ton but I did manage to say a few things in spanish about the book of mormon. they invited us to come back thursday!!!
We also were able to go do baptisms for the dead with Miss Kim! the water makes her a little nervous but she did awesome. she was just all smiles afterward

.
Tenesha and her two kids baptism got pushed back to next saturday. the son didn't come to church on sunday and we really want them to be baptized as a family. but we have been able to meet with them alot. tonight we are teaching the 10 commandments and we made it into a puzzle activity to keep them interested :) it should be fun!
we met a total of 10 new investigators last week!!! this area is sacred grounds to me! It has been so blessed. alma 26:12 says Yea I know that I am nothing as to my strength I am weak, therefore i will not boast of myself but I will boast of my god for in his strength I can do all things. Yea, Behold, many might miracles we have wrought in this land for which we will praise his name forever!
This describes perfectly how I feel.
We were able to teach a total of 38 lessons this last week!!
I was studying fasting alot this week this fast sunday coming up. I have always been really bad at fasting but I was reading a talk from the 2004 november ensign so its kinda old but it talks about starting and ending a family fast while kneeling by the table. I thought that was so cool! We have been doing alot of FHE's lately and I have realized how much strength they really do bring. Try to do one this week before sunday and decide as a family something you can fast for :) I love ya'll.
Transfers are this week I am not really sure what will happen but I keep getting the feeling I will be leaving Odenton :(. I will let ya know on monday.
Love ya!

Hey friends and family!
I just wanted to say hi from all the way back east! This week has been crazy busy! We have 6 new investigators and are just talking to literally every person we see!. we have been working alot with the less actives and the members in this area and it has brought so many blessings! We got to teach relief society on Sunday and the lesson was on temples. Man, it made me miss going to the temple so bad! one thing that really stood out to me was the importance of having a current temple recommend. I was thinking about it one night while I was trying to sleep and I compared it to an I.D.
and ID has your name, hair color, weight, height. etc. but how does a temple recommend identify you? .It identifies your faith in HIM. Always have a current temple recommend and make it a point to go to the temple! He needs our help with his work. the missionaries on the other side of the veil are working over time to bring the souls there to Christ but they can't do it alone. We are the ones that have to help these precious spirits progress to the waters of baptism, and endure to the endowment! They can't be perfect or complete without us. and we can't be perfect of complete without them!
Go do baptisms, go do a session. Just GO! Heavenly Father will bless you. Pray for the person you are going through for. You are there escort. Pray that they will accept the blessings of the ordinance and pray that they will feel your love for them. Temple work is the most selfless thing that we can do. As we prepare for the Ogden temple to be finished, get ready!
Love you all!

To all my friends and family!
I just wanted to share a quick scripture with you this week. It is in Alma 5:14 - 28. And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye spiritually been born of God? have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experience this mighty change in your hearts? And how behold, I say unto you my brethren, if ye have experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now?
Can others tell we have the light of Christ in us personally and in our homes! Be an example to neighbors that are less active or non members. feel the need to sing the song of redeeming love and reach out to those lost sheep of his fold with love. We are seeing so many miracles out here from reaching out to less actives. Befriend them! Help them remember what they already know! Be bold and loving, when you combine the two it is never overbearing.
This week has been a long one but I have really learned how worth it all the hard work really is. And that goes for just life in general too! When times get hard go forward with confidence that something around the corner will be even better.
Have ye experienced this mighty change in  your hearts?
Do you let the gospel shape and mold you? The gospel of Jesus Christ will bring more happiness than anything else possibly could here on this earth. Let is shape you! let it mold you! I promise that if you do, you will experience this mighty change of heart. I know I have. Odenton has become sacred land to me. It is where I have been truly converted. I love the Savior and I know without a doubt he loves all of us and is there for us with his arm of mercy extended to us...but are we willing to grab his hand and let Him pull us out? Trust in the Savior and in our loving Heavenly Father's perfect plan.
I love you all!
